This policy operates in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and outlines your rights and our return processes.
Under the ACL, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund if an item has a major failure, including where the product:
is faulty or defective
is unsafe
is significantly different from its description, imagery, or sample
does not perform as reasonably expected
is not fit for purpose and cannot be repaired within a reasonable timeframe
fails to last a reasonable period of time
Where a product is confirmed to have a major fault, you are entitled to a refund to your original payment method or another appropriate remedy as required under the ACL.
Nothing in this policy limits or overrides your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
We do not provide refunds for change-of-mind purchases.
This includes:
incorrect size selection
fit, length, or style preference
personal taste or styling decisions
To offer flexibility, we may provide at our discretion:
size exchange, subject to availability
store credit issued via email for future use
Refunds for sizing or fit concerns are not provided unless required under the ACL.
Pre-order items are clearly marked on the product page with an estimated dispatch timeframe.
If a pre-order item is purchased together with in-stock items, the entire order will be held and shipped together once the pre-order item arrives and is ready for dispatch.
Customers wishing to receive in-stock items earlier may contact hello@jalayimiya.info to discuss split shipment options. Additional shipping charges may apply.
Estimated dispatch dates for pre-order items are subject to change due to manufacturing, customs processing, freight delays, or other circumstances outside of Jalayimiya’s control. Customers will be updated where significant delays occur.
If a pre-order timeframe extends beyond a reasonable period under Australian Consumer Law, customers may be entitled to a remedy in accordance with the ACL.

Where a fault is confirmed, we will provide an appropriate remedy in line with the ACL, which may include:
repair
replacement
refund
Returned items must be:
unworn, unwashed, and unused
in original condition
with all tags and sanitary liners intact
Items that do not meet these requirements may be returned to the customer.
Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility for:
change-of-mind
sizing
fit-related returns
Return postage will only be reimbursed where required under the ACL, such as when an item is confirmed faulty or incorrect.
Items discounted beyond standard welcome or loyalty offers, or purchased during promotional sale periods, are classified as Final Sale.
Final Sale items are not eligible for return, refund, exchange, or store credit unless deemed faulty under the ACL.
Where a Final Sale item is faulty, your consumer rights still apply.

Jalayimiya is not responsible for parcels lost in transit.
Returns must be shipped within 14 days of approval.
Please allow 1–4 business days after receipt for assessment.
You will be notified via email once processing is complete.
Returns that do not meet policy requirements will be sent back within 7 business days.
Refunds are issued only where required under the ACL or where explicitly approved by Jalayimiya.
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 10 business days of approval.
