More Than What We Wear

Jalayimiya is a contemporary First Nations fashion label built around art, women & community.

Founded by Walmajarri designer Brodie George, original hand-painted artworks grounded in Country, culture & storytelling are transformed into pieces designed to celebrate women's bodies, not ask them to change them.

Across Australia, a growing community of almost 5,000 customers wear Jalayimiya their own way, across different ages, sizes, shapes & stages of life. Around one in four customers return to shop with us again.

We collaborate with & employ First Nations creatives across photography, modelling, art and production, investing back into our community & contributing to Australia's growing Black economy.

We create wearable art. But what we're really building is belonging.
